Ryan Hanley (Poli Sci, Boston College) will discuss his new book on Adam Smith at a PEP event on Thurs Sept. 19, 2019, at 4:30 pm in Rocky 1 that is free and open to the public.
Adam Smith was not only a leading founder of economics, but a renowned moral philosopher. In his new book Our Great Purpose: Adam Smith on Living a Better Life (Princeton, 2019), Ryan Patrick Hanley (Boston College, Political Science) will discuss what lessons the apostle of free-market economics might have for living the good life today. The event, sponsored by the Political Economy Project, is free and open to the public. It will take place on Thursday September 19, 2019, at 4:30 pm in Rocky 1.
